STEPS FOR USE: After placing the desired amount of ground coffee in the filter holder, press the holder onto a clean, flat surface. Use your fingers to roughly level the coffee.Insert the tamper into the filter holder and press very lightly (about 30 lbs of pressure). It is not necessary to press hard for the action to be effective.Once the tamper is removed, use your fingers to remove any coffee residue that may have spilled out of the filter during pressing.Insert the filter holder into the brew unit and continue making your espresso. FOR COFFEE GEEKS: The 30 lb. measurement is the one that the industry says will most often produce the best result.
