Captain Jack Sparrow cosplayer at the Brentwood Comic Con and Toy Fair at the Brentwood Centre. The Brentwood Comic Con and Toy Fair is a new event this year and is likely to be an annual event. It brought together vehicles from films, such as a replica of Batman's Tumbler as well as some costumed characters from Star Wars and other science fiction franchises. Visitors were also encouraged to dress up as their favorite film characters. There was a large commercial element with over a hundred stalls selling film memorabilia including toys, posters, gaming cards, and the like. The event had over two thousand visitors and received glowing social media reviews. Visitors were a mix of young children with their parents, older, veteran gamers, and memorabilia collectors.
